Aisha Hinds, an American actor best known for playing roles in the television series The Shield and True Blood. Ever since her debut in 2003, she has proven her abilities in the role of actress with stunning performances on television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. Anna's role as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 was her first major breakthrough. However, it was her performance of feminist activist Fannie Louis Hamer, in the documentary film All the Way, which brought her the recognition she deserved as an actress. Her portrayal of Harriet Tubman on WGN America's period drama Underground was also highly praised. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson.
